The practice of artistic expression, developed regularly, contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of individuals, enhances social relations, promotes the acquisition of knowledge and greater social and human progress. Compota COMMUNITY brings together experienced artists with adults, seniors, students and volunteers with no artistic experience.
The participative and collaborative processes of social inclusion Compota are structured around concepts such as Being, Identity and Memory, seeking to foster integrative relationships between different individuals to discover and deepen knowledge about who we are today, who we can be in the future and how we can revitalize our individual and collective history.
The activities include non-formal artistic learning Workshops, creative Laboratories and final Presentations. In each creative process, active and participatory methodologies are used that incorporate the participants’ knowledge, skills and life experience, and the cultural practices of their community.
