“UMPONTOTRÊS” is the improvised show around Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa* and the fragmentation of the self, that mixes dance with music, video and words.
Inspired by the four main reference names within Pessoa’s universe: Fernando Pessoa, Álvaro de Campos, Ricardo Reis and Alberto Caeiro, the performance “UMPONTOTRÊS” proposes a joint reflection on individual identity that completes itself in diversity, in space and time of relationship with oneself and with others.
The show can be adapted to unconventional spaces. It can be presented with the creation and premiere cast (25 pax) or with a smaller team (9 pax) that will work with students in the localities for a joint presentation. It presupposes the realization of a Workshop (dance/theater/music), Rehearsals and public Performance.
* Portuguese poet, whiter, literary critic, translator, publisher, and philosopher Fernando Pessoa was one of the most significant literary figures of the 20th century.
